Dr. Katharina Fellnhofer

As company director, Katharina Fellnhofer leads this management consulting firm. She started her business in 2010 and has to date developed and managed several ICT projects while lecturing or active at several universities across Europe. New Design University, Danube University Krems, St. Pölten School of Applied Sciences, University of Applied Sciences Salzburg, University of Liechtenstein, and the University of Bayreuth. As a member of several committees, Katharina is an advisor to policy-makers and the business community—for instance, she was a member of the Horizon 2020 Expert Group on assessing the investment potential of SMEs emerging from the SME Instrument. Katharina has been an Erwin-Schrödinger-Fellow from 2015 to 2017 with her habilitation project entitled "E-Ship-Stories Initiative for Entrepreneurship Education". Since July 2017 she is a Docent at Lappeenranta University of Technology in Finland and currently is a Visiting Scholar at the Weatherhead Center of International Affairs at the Harvard University.

In addition to her research and entrepreneurial passion, Katharina enjoys running.


    Olivia Wais

    Olivia Wais is a student at the School of Applied Sciences in St. Pölten. Her current work commitment focuses on a HORIZON2020 project entitled ONLINE-S3 within the Research and Innovation Management GmbH. Her expertise includes Interactive Media, Programming (C#, Java, PHP, JavaScript,...), Fundamentals of Usability, Contextual Design and Accessibility, Information Design, Screendesign, Print Technology, and Print Design. She previously worked as a research assistant at the School of Applied Sciences in St. Pölten. As an Austrian-American, her favorite hobby is travelling between continents.

      Elisabeth Leichtfried

      Elisabeth Leichtfried studied German, psychology and philosophy at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (summa cum laude). As well as being engaged in the editorial department of a leading regional newspaper, she has led several seminars for leading companies in the transportation and construction industries. Based on her expertise, she manages seminars and workshops as a freelancer for the Research and Innovation Management GmbH. In her free time, Elisabeth likes to improve her French, Portuguese, and Russian language skills.



        Mag. Ulrike Schauer

        Mag. Ulrike Schauer studied business education and management training at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz and was a regional winner of the i2B business plan competition. Having worked for many years as a financial manager for a leading company in the construction industry, she has accumulated rich experience in tax consultancy. Acting as an external advisor, Ulrike manages several seminars for the Research and Innovation Management GmbH. In her leisure time, she enjoys horse riding, skiing, and reading.

          Mag. Michaela Burgstaller

          Michaela Burgstaller studied English and sport at the University of Education Upper Austria in Linz. Based on her expertise she manages several seminars and workshops as a freelancer for the Research and Innovation Management GmbH. Michaela continues to take a keen and active interest in sports whenever possible.




            Prof. Kaisu Puumalainen

            Research and Science Community Advisor

            In the framework of the research project E-Ship-Stories Prof. Kaisu Puumalainen leads Dr. Katharina Fellnhofer to her overall goal, a postdoctoral lecture qualification/ habilitation degree (Docentship/Venia Docendi) at the Lappeenranta University of Technology. Prof. Puumalainen holds a top position as researcher in the international field in terms of publication output. She has published more than 70 peer reviewed journal articles in 46 different highly ranked international journals, with more than 900 citations and an H index of 17, which is among the top 5 of all economics, business and management scholars in Finland. Additionally, she was honoured with an order of Finnish White Rose, Knight of the 1st Class, in 2011. Prof. Puumalainen represents one of nine board members at the Lappeenranta University of Technology. Kaisu enjoys to spend her limited leisure time with her family and her horse particularly in the nature.


              Mag. Anton Eiser

              Senior Innovation Advisor

              Mag. Anton Eiser has been an independent innovation manager for more than 15 years and has developed and managed several successful projects with a focus on innovation strategy and product development. He is at present deploying one of his core competencies in the aviation business to facilitate disruptive technologies in this context. In addition, he is an independent expert and evaluator for the European Commission. Toni is a passionate pilot and is in the air whenever time permits.



                Mag. Hermann Wieland

                International and Export Advisor

                Mag. Hermann Wieland has been an export manager for more than 25 years and has developed and managed several successful export projects. He has advised several forestry sector industries in the East, providing support for new purchasing offices in Asia and guiding several leading companies that are active in or producing for the primary industry. Hermann is a passionate hiker and in his free time enjoys the countryside.
